The Cross Lanes Country
Hotel is set in six and a half acres of beautiful grounds and gardens close
to Chester, Wrexham and Llangollen and within reach of all the areas main
attractions. When you visit the Cross Lanes you will be touched by the natural
beauty of the surrounding landscape which provides the ideal backdrop for
your holiday break, wedding photography or business occasion.
The Cross Lanes was originally
built as a private house in the reign of Queen Victoria and converted to a
hotel in 1959. The Victorian features and homely feeling have been carefully
preserved to this day. The superb oak panelling in the front hall, older than
the original house, dates back to the Jacobean period circa 1618. It was rescued
from Emral Hall in Worthenbury and carefully restored at the Cross Lanes.
